SEN Teacher

Smart Education is recruiting an SEN Teacher to support pupils aged 5–16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in West Bromwich.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an SEN Teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them achieve positive outcomes in education.

 

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and tailored lessons to pupils with SEMH needs, including those within alternative provision settings. The successful SEN Teacher will promote emotional resilience, academic progress, and positive behaviour while creating a structured and supportive learning environment.

 

Job Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher

  • Deliver personalised lessons to pupils with SEMH needs

Requirements for an SEN Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Experience within alternative provision settings is beneficial
